FUEL FILLER CAP RUBBER SEAL NON-VENTED TYPE for:
SPITFIRE MkIV & 1500 YEARS 1970-1980.
TR6 YEARS 1969-1976.
IMPORTANT NOTE : THE FUEL TANK MUST BE VENTED IF A NON-VENTED FUEL CAP IS FITTED.
The seal is made from black rubber and locates on the underside of the fuel filler cap. Part No. is 725220.
This is the non-vented type seal WITHOUT a small vent hole in the centre of the seal. If your existing seal has perished or is missing then this replacing it will cut down on fuel smells and be safer.
If you want to convert this cap to the VENTED version which is part no 718738 then you can do so by drilling/poking the appropriate small hole the centre of the seal.
